Airloy® HR Sheet
From: $90
Airloy® HR from Aerogel Technologies is a tough and durable, nonflammable, dust-free, rollable superinsulating aerogel material. With a consistency similar to thin cardboard, Airloy HR can be wrapped, bent, and compressed without breaking or losing insulating performance. Strong in both compression and tension. Excellent resistance to liquid water uptake and humidity. Easy to cut and adhere. Maximum operating temperature of 300°C. An ideal solution for applications that demand mechanical toughness and thermal performance while minimizing thickness in automotive, aerospace, apparel, construction, physical plant, and consumer electronics. Example applications include thermal barriers for battery packs, thermal breaks, heat-steering layers in electronics, high and low temperature pipe wraps, and firewalls. Sold in 1.5 mm thick rolls. For applications requiring thicker materials, simply adhere multiple layers together. Made with NASA technology.
