Slentite® Aerogel Panels for Construction

From: $50

Slentite® from Aerogel-it is a revolutionary new type of insulation board for use in construction, appliances, cold chain logistics, and engineering. Born in the laboratories of BASF and brought to market by Aerogel-it, Slentite has an R-value of 8 per inch, making it the most insulating construction insulation board on the market. An open-celled structure and moisture management properties makes it especially suitable for applications where humidity is a challenge such as interior insulation in buildings. Unlike most spray foams, Slentite’s insulative performance doesn’t degrade over time. Water proof, dust free, machinable, and easy to install. At just 13-15 mm thick, Slentite is ideal for stopping heat loss in tight spaces where traditional insulation materials are inadequate. For an even more effective thermal barrier, these panels are easily glued together using a non-solvent-based adhesive to make thicker panels. As an organic material, Slentite provides a limited susceptibility to fire (Euroclass E EN 13501-1). Sold in full panel, half panel, and tile sizes.
